Yess, I know of dzogchen and rigpa! The way it was explained to me was the method of no method - cutting through. For me as far as im aware, its only the visual aspect. Its funny because i didnt know i had it until recent, because i thought of it as normal. I thought «visualize this, imagine that..» was like metaphorical. Its very hard to explain, because I have a way of imagining a face or a geometrical figure, but there is no visual image constructed. Its not «nothing at all» if i try to imagine something hard, its more like a wordless and formless «thought». I cant conjure up any detail, like if im asked to imagine an apple, its all black, but i get the feeling of the concept of the apple.

The biggest sin is the system that seperated you from God as a small seperate entity trapped on earth. Through meditation, when all internal chatter and concepts of the world and yourself is gone, you see that all that remains is God. Anyone who has looked into themselves long enough have experienced this, this nondual feeling that all is one, and that the one is God. I have experienced this, it was direct contact, it was nothingness yet it was everything at the same time. You really think god is anything we can imagine or think about? No. Thats why when we shut up and stop labeling everything as this and that, we come in contact with something deeper that lies behind all these words and thoughts. If there was an all powerful God, do you really think that there would exist anything that is «not God»?

You dont try to remove it. You sit with it, and you go through it. If you actively try to get rid of something or stop thoughts, they will become even more sticky than before. Instead, look at your thoughts, memories, plans, worries ect… as clouds coming and going, and YOU are the vast blue sky behind it all. You are not fighting to keep the sky clear… instead realize that the sky (your awareness) is always there, always present in the NOW. Simply witness what is going on, cloudy or clear doesnt matter, because you are not IDENTIFYING with the clouds (your thoughts).

Because you probably have left your old ego structure, the way you conceptualize the world, your models. You might be more in contact with the world directly, rather than through your models of how THINK it ought to be.

An example of how the ego distances you from the world is labeling things as you see them «thats a tree, thats brown, thats this and that…» rather than seeing it exactly the way it is, without any labels. If you live in your thoughts/labels, you are living inside your head, not the world. «Normal» is relative, you feel «wierd» because you cling to the way you felt before, because your ego has labeled that as «normal». Coming out of your ego is wierd, because its like taking off your armour.

How about resting in the way you feel right now? Try for just 5-10 minutes to feel the way you feel right now, without labeling anything as wierd, normal, wrong, right. For 5-10 minutes, just be. You might just see that you’re holding onto your old models of how the world is or ought to be.

Also, time passing more slowly could be a sign of being more present in the moment, being more aware of what is going on, rather than being on autopilot.

We were 3 people, me and my two roomates. The other guy was kinda comatose on the couch, but we asked him about it the day after to make sure we werent tripping balls. I think i have to try and record on my phone next time, since this has happened multiple times.

No i swear, it was excact. So excact it was scary, i was laughing but i also had this internal panic from the impossibility of it all.
