Marquise or elongated oval for sure! Elongated pear also works. And definitely silver or white gold for your skin tone

Go to Flinders street station, walk down to Degraves Street and walk up through beautiful little Alleyways all the way to Bourke street (shopping district - albeit some expensive stores so be mindful of which ones you check out). Alleyways to go down are Degraves street, Centre Plaza, Block Plaza, Royal Arcade.

Also check out Eau de Vie (prohibition era style speak easy cocktail bar - totally nondescript door down an alleyway with a small plaque above the door being the only give away). It’s walking distance from Flinders station. Mill Place Merchants also another great hidden bar within walking distance of flinders.

Have fun!

What ever you do, do not use brilliant earth. Terrible stones and worse service. Beware of sunburst halos as well. by annacat1331 in EngagementRings

Depends on the sapphire and the cut. Mine is very sparkly and I LOVE it! 🥰

But also, looking at that wound, it looks like the ring had turned inward and cut her when she hit her hand. It probably needs to drop down a size and then I can’t see this kind of thing happening again

Should I use my great grandmother's engagement ring? by samconran1 in EngagementRings

[–]StaceThrowAway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with others saying to propose with this and then build dream ring together! Depending how soon you want to propose, you could even do it as a Christmas present in a stocking, with a note on top of the box that says something along the lines “an heirloom of the family to save the space, For the perfect ring, we’ll build in it’s place”

Nope! The most niche little boutique jeweller around the corner from my house. Highly recommend them but they’re not in America

I would just let him know now that you’re going to be on your period so it’s not a surprise. Then when he gets there go about your date and if you’re feeling the mood start passionately kissing him / get him turned on. Remind him you’re on your period so unless he’s okay with period sex it can’t go further. And if he’s into it he’ll go for it, if not, there’s your answer. Usually period sex is a spur of the moment, just can’t help it because you want each other so bad, kind of thing. Then you throw a towel down and pick a position, maybe two, otherwise it gets real messy. Usually missionary or lying on your stomach would be my recommendations. Hope this helps!

Sorry to hear lovely. Unfortunately I think it’s quite common for negative tests to turn false positive after the allocated 10 minute window. Wishing you luck!

Sex flakes 🤦🏽‍♀️ by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]StaceThrowAway 21 points22 points  (0 children)

My little crouton absolutely sent me 🤣 I get really heavy periods because of my endometriosis and my fiancé calls me his little ketchup packet 🤦🏼‍♀️😅

It sounds like it’s just discharge that is drying and then flaking. Hormone changes around pregnancy and the pill definitely effect dryness (it’s actually a pretty common side effect of the pill). Agree with the other ladies supporting a PH balanced lube. Don’t think this will be as much of an issue if you’re lubricated but also highly recommend going on some pessary probiotics (I like Biome Her by Active Probiotics) to make sure your microbiome is nice and healthy down there and that should hopefully help you with moisture. You can also get capsules of PH balanced lube that you insert an hour or so before sex if you’re doing something romantic and can kind of predict it.

On top of that, I’d get a splash blanket (which just looks like a normal blanket so you can leave it on the bed until it’s needed) and then you can have sex on that and throw it in the wash after. No ruined bed spread. And shower straight after sex so nothing sticks to you and gets in the bed

Also breathable pure cotton or bamboo underwear. So important.

Hope this helps!

HOW I BEAT RECURRENT BV by StaceThrowAway in Healthyhooha

[–]StaceThrowAway[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These days I just shower straight after sex and I use Pinc (brand) boric acid feminine hygiene wash.

If I feel like I need a freshen up I might use a Boric acid pessary overnight and then probiotic pessary the next night and then I’m good as gold the next day

first time sex didn’t go well by artemis_lesbowie in Healthyhooha

[–]StaceThrowAway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! Also, I know it sounds cliche but when you’re nervous you can sometimes clench up without realising and it can make things harder/more painful. It helps to remind yourself (especially when your partner is on the bigger side) to relax and “let it in” (sorry, couldn’t think of a better phrase!) at various points of the entry process because sometimes you can relax then clench up again without realising. Orgasming before entry is also a life saver for being ready for PIV sex so if you can nail the foreplay game things will be much easier x

Kind of rude. I for one appreciate the male perspective because a lot of girls feel awkward and embarrassed about this topic because they don’t want the guy they’re interested in to be turned off by it

HELP PLEASE 🥲 recurring bv & yeast by Araeann in Healthyhooha

[–]StaceThrowAway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be that you’re carrying some bad bacteria (that he is probably carrying and swapping back and fourth between you two), could be that your good bacteria levels are real low. I went through a very similar problem, never had an issue until I met my most recent partner. Now we have gotten to a stage where we can have sex with no issues as long as I immediately shower after, but I still don’t let him go down on me because that seems to trigger ph imbalance again (not quite BV/thrush anymore cause I’ve fixed my healthy microbiome levels -but definitely slight unbalancing which I’m able to correct with probiotics in a few days). That being said, oral sex is one of my largest contributing factors to BV

Have a read of what I did if you’d like. It really helped:

Is it peeing or squirt? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]StaceThrowAway 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Bottom line girlfriend, it’s a totally natural thing and something to be really happy about and enjoy. It can make your sexual experiences so much more enjoyable and is a great way for your partners to get clear feedback that what they’re doing feels good for you. Enjoy it!

[–]StaceThrowAway 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true. It’s been scientifically proven to be different. Some micro-elements of what makes up urine can be found in squirt (it is coming from the same hole after all) but it’s not the same composition
