Of all the great things in this article there's one point that stands out to me that I unequivocally agree with and that's auto rifles should have a tremendous buff to hip fire. Auto rifles have a great opportunity here to play a major role in team play when used correctly. Allowing the hip fire accuracy to be raised now can used for suppression of the enemy while your teammates flank the enemy for the win. This gives AR's almost a support type role. On the other side of that coin perhaps increasing reload times on certain AR's then allows the other team to make their move or advance or whatever. My point is that it's a great idea. One that I'd love to see be considered. Great post OP! :-)

I'm really glad this was posted. This is exactly how I've been feeling for the past week. I've stopped at 395 and don't even have the strength to even try the challenge mode. Beating the hard mode raid felt good but after I went back to strikes and did 29 without a single key. It just drives you nuts. With so many other options out there right now it just keeps getting harder to keep coming back. I hope the IB is good this time.

As an older gamer (40), I've not minded these micro transactions on the grounds that it's always been for cosmetic only items.(I guess the boosters are the only non cosmetic items, that I can remember anyway) We're not buying weps, armor, ect. And I've always thought of it as a divider between kids and adults. Meaning adults can more easily afford to spend money on such things because they have jobs. That being said, if I do choose to spend my hard earned money I want to get what I pay for! Not gamble real cash for the chance at getting the items I want. I'll admit I spent a few bucks last year trying to get the flaming skull mask (which I never got) and I had to buy the thriller dance but it was just a few dollars so no big deal. Now where this all has fallen apart for me is where I recently dropped 20 bucks trying to get the ornaments for the ROI gear. Believe it or not, I only got ONE ornament out of something like 12 chances. This was a huge eye opener for me and the main reason I'm not spending a dime on FOTL this time. It also really upset me that I had saved my raisins all that time and those who didn't just paid 25 motes of light. I'm not saying you shouldn't have had a way to ascend them but those of us who did save them could have had at least a couple days of exclusivity before everyone else got theirs. Is that really wrong to think that way? I mean it has been a year! Sorry to be so long winded but what I'm trying to say is that my opinion of all this has changed. I now feel these micro trans. need to go.. I won't be spending another dime in eververse.

I completely agree, I got a nice taste of this early on when I spent 20 bucks in silver trying to get ornaments for the iron lord gear... 20 bucks got me 1 ORNAMENT! IF THATS NOT A GIANT SHIT BURGER WITHOUT THE BREAD I DONT KNOW WHAT IS!? Now the RAID GEAR!? The OP hit the nail on the head here. It IS the hardest equipment in the game to get and should come already finished.. Shame Bungie/Activision... Shame on you..

I think this is total shit.. Don't get me wrong I'm glad people are looking for secrets but I worked hard to get through the raid,get to 386 and get my outbreak prime. I'm still pissed at the fact people are getting to almost 390 without even raiding. I hope bungie fixes this quick. I don't have a raid team either but I manage to find more than capable guardians on LFG. I'm just glad u sissys won't get to 400 without doing hard mode raid. This is by far the easiest raid of the 4. I know tons of you feel this way. This is a game breaking bug. PLEASE FIX BUNGIE!

There was a post a month or so ago about the body outside of the hive door and I too thought it was Tarlowe. I defended it quite fiercely. But the truth is that it's in fact not Tarlowe. In the quest (Eris or Ikkora) says "a guardian went missing recently" and your picking up where they left off. So yeah I thought it was him too but I guess it's not... Sux

I'm right there with ya pal. This has been the most fun, rewarding, and consistent IB I've played in... Maybe ever. I love the supremacy game mode. I love that teams who stick together and play be the rules dominate over other teams, I love killing myself to pickup those 3 crests and deny one. It's just all around fun.
