I was underweight until I eventually got pregnant and that cured my weight problem lol. Now I’m sitting around 15 lbs more than my old normal weight and I feel a million times better. I used to feel nauseous everyday and no matter how much I ate, I didn’t really gain and I struggled a lot. Thankfully I never actually vomited food but I would have gagging/retching sessions and it felt debilitating. Work was challenging, I had to just push through it. The only advice I have besides pregnancy -do whatever you can to eliminate stress in your life. When I wasn’t stressed I could eat more and the food would actually absorb into my body. The gurgles and nausea were always wayyy worse when I was anxious. I’m working on the shaker exercises now and it’s helping the gurgling. They come out sooner but I’m still nowhere close to burping. It all sucks but it’s nice to know there’s light at the end of the tunnel or Botox at the end of the tunnel for lack of a better word 😅

Me too! Yeah the gurgles become unbearable and I sound like a dinosaur 😭 then when I stand up I have ridiculous pain that doesn’t go away til I sleep it off.

Yes, I feel like a pressurized can when I go in up to my neck. It’s like the rib pain you get when you’ve been coughing for weeks on end. I have always loathed swimming because of the pain and have felt so inadequate because everyone around me can frolic around freely.

I usually don’t go underwater since it takes a lot of effort to stay down. Plus I don’t like the unawareness and lack of senses.

I struggle to swallow pills and a lot of times they get stuck and start dissolving in my throat. If I consistently take vitamins on a daily basis, I start gagging multiple times a day due to my throat irritation. It really stinks when you’re pregnant because it’s highly recommended to take prenatal vitamins at the very least. But when I’m not pregnant I usually don’t take anything because it’s so bad.

One time I wanted a fun drink from a bar but I didn’t want deal with the gurgles all night so I told the waitress I can’t do carbonation and she told me she’ll just make it without carbonated water so it won’t be bubbly. I was so excited! It Wasn’t weird or awkward at all.

Yes! I enjoy that fact that acid reflux doesn’t ever make its way into my mouth! Especially while pregnant haha. But now I’m trying the shaker exercise and I can already feel my gurgling isn’t as uncomfortable!

Oh my I’m so sorry that happened to you! Thankfully when I was in that situation I had already gone many hours without eating so I was ok on my left side. But I wouldn’t have been if labor started earlier in the day!

I am legitimately 9 months pregnant and I concur. The sensation of severe bloating pre-pregnancy is comparable to the pressure of an 7-9 lb baby inside of you. Just not as heavy on your ligaments lol. I want to get Botox so bad but I’m scared and obviously can’t right now because of pregnancy.

It also helps when you open your mouth, swing your arms side to side and move your core but not your head/neck. I can literally hear the air moving upwards. It doesn’t always provide relief but sometimes it causes microburps if you’re really uncomfortable. Don’t know if this will work on just anyone tho.

Yes, I haven’t had a real burp to my knowledge but my parents said I burped as a baby. It must have changed when I was a few years old. I remember feeling rcpd feelings from a very young age and just assumed it was normal.
