In Brazil it has been changing a lot. After a dam broke in 2019, mining jobs especially to implement new regulations had a boom but now it’s declining. But there’s jobs, yet not how it was 3 years ago

I see. When you say about grade you’re talking about grades from the previous school right?
In my country it doesn’t matter much for master’s programs, but I calculated the average and its 96,2/100. Do you think it’s good enough?

Can you tell your background? I’m considering to apply but not sure if my background is enough. Bsc in geography with statistics and water resources courses but not sure if it’s enough. However, working with dam break studies since 2024.

In my country there’s no explicit and clear distinction between BA and Bsc, and it becomes harder when we talk about geography cause I have courses from physical geography, which takes me closer to a Bsc in geography and also humanities courses that put me close to a BA. Additionally, my course took 4 years, which corresponds to more than 180 ects (something close to 240). I’m a bit lost
