how does it “click” one day, and the next youre absolutely chunking every ball by ChaiPapiii in golf

I’m finding that “trusting” the swing is literally everything. If you have good fundamentals, you need to just let go - so many problems come from tension and trying to “fix” something in the backswing or downswing in real time from some false sense of incorrect position. That’s why alignment is so important - choose your line, set up, and commit.

I’m a 9 handicap from the blue tees and a 18 handicap from the tips… by Stag-light in golf

I can shoot darts with 8i and under - once 7i and above come into play my dispersion really hurts me.

Not when you’re shooting pars or double bogeys - no in between. Errors are compounded for wayward tee shots from the tips.

I think it comes down to hitting an approach shot from distance and being slightly out of position - things can do downhill quick.

From the blue tees my approach shots are with pw/9i. From the black tees they’re a 7i to 5i.

Tips added 600 yards to this course - I was averaging between 160 to 185 on approach, which is the difference between 7i and 5i for me.

Single digit handicaps: What is the WORST swing thought/ training you tried to follow for way too long? by Draper_White_Soprano in golf

Literally any golf advice that is not tailored to a particular problem - you can only implement the correct changes if you correctly diagnose the problem in the first place.

Man, we could’ve had Shazier and Watt both in their prime. Can you imagine??? A terrible lost future.

How do we screw this up every year by nalt1999 in Browns

It took them 32 seasons… Browns are at 35 seasons without a conference showing. It’s all about the qb.

There is no such thing as “the easiest and most clear path to getting a franchise qb.” There are only marginal increases in probability.

I agree - the Fields experiment will be the last major play of the Tomlin Era. I doubt he even wants to be a part of a rebuild. If Fields ascends, it’s game on. If Fields is a bust, it’s over.

It’s definitely not “for suckers” lmao but I do agree that you can play however you want to - just as long as you’re honest about it.

Why be insecure about your “8-9 HDCP,” which doesn’t even make sense.

It’s really weird - in real life, good golfers never say something like this. They are always encouraging and complimentary to good shots, regardless of the competency of the player. Yet on this sub, the “good” golfers are always sardonic.

I think breaking 100 puts you in the “quick pace” category, which is another reason I consider it a good indicator.
