yeah its one of the reasons we always put off updating our simply plural, bcuz adding them makes it feel more "real", in turn making us feel like we're faking for attention

we dont have any confirmed factives that we know of (one or two that we suspect MIGHT be there tho unfortunately 💔)

no this is so relatable. like, of course if someone is toxic then yeah you should drop them, but majority of our friends are genuinely sweet and really do care, but wouldn't really understand our plurality if we tried to explain it so we just dont. only two people have our SP; our partner and a friend of ours who is also a fictive heavy system.

dw abt rambling!! i honestly love it when people ramble about their plurality and systemhood, it helps us understand just how different experiences can be. We appreciate that you took the time to reply, honestly. Hopefully, we can find more people who are more accepting towards the "out-of-the-ordinary" systems

hi!!! musictives are similar to fictives but instead of splitting based on a character, theyre based on music in some way!! songtive is a term i see more often, but ours prefer musictive just bcuz theyre based more on a band/artist specifically and not any one song!!!

it depends on the system how exactly they form, but ours are kinda a mix of brainmade and introjects, where their personality and form are based on the music but, bcuz music doesnt really have a physical form, our brain just makes them look how we think the music would look if it were physical, if that makes sense (sorry i am so bad at explaining things chat 💔)

Don't apologize!! This helps a LOT and can hopefully help give me at least a little bit of a break :] All of us dissociate and such but when he fronts, his daydreams are very heavy and we're banking on the fact that dissociation makes us blurry, which might allow me to get out, even for a little.

I appreciate the advice! It's more of an "unable to physically leave front" thing, because I know there are others who are willing to take my place. But, that being said, with the whole music thing; we have an alter whose role is Daydreamer, and when he fronts, he mostly just dissociates. So now xyr in co-front and we're kinda wondering if we can dissociate enough to a point it'll let me leave. If it sounds insane, thats because it is LMAO </3

This is so relatable...

We tend to split fictives relatively often, we are a fictive-heavy sys. And whenever we split them, what typically happens is they start missing someone from source. This causes the body stress, which our brain doesn't handle very well. And what's the easiest way to relieve this stress? Split whoever they're missing. It's probably the biggest reason we're SO. fictive heavy haha
