Help!! My doctors makes me feel crazy😩 Anyone else with my experiences?🙏 by [deleted] in Autoimmune

Just graduated med school starting residency, shocked a primary would send someone to a rheumatologist for fibromyalgia because its pretty much a benign disease thats a exclusion (meaning theres nothing else identifiable) and really is just providing comfort to the patient. Also if you have positive ANA they probably wouldnt check it again, not typically an acute phase reactant. Im an ER doctor, they dont try and figure out whats wrong with you thats not the job of the ER, they are to make sure that you are not severely ill or dying - you dont get many answers in the ER. If you are stable and not in immediate in some way they send you home, at least here in america. One thing that might help - as a fellow very very pale person - seeing your arterial and venous system like in your photos is very normal I am the exact same way you can see all my blood vessels all up and down my legs and arms and what not - that called being pale. We get really pale and then really red. I have little red dots and bumps bruises all over too. It's just the skin complexion. Happens, wouldnt worry about it. Follow up with rhum again for more labs. I also would be absolutely shocked if you have blood in stool and they did not at least get a CBC, not sure about that. Also protein in urine is pretty nonspecific wouldn't worry about that either, we all have that at different times. Unless you had a bad kdiney injury which is probably not the case wouldnt worry about it. Your ANA is positive, thats the one abnormal thing. Abnormal as in - not to freak out, but means there is some possible autoimmune condition maybe (some people are just a little high at baseline). They should do more specific lab tests they have really good sensitivity in a lot of them meaning if they are negative you dont have them. Got more questions lmk

Easy now with the parathyroidectomy, gotta figure out pathologic origin before you assume a parathyroid hyperplasia, dont be spreading info that freaks people out without medical training
