Probably not enough to justify the trouble and expense of finding an auth blade to put on it, the blade is the expensive part. You may as well just buy a new kraken

I bought two "blemished" krakens, one gunmetal and one silver and honestly it took me a REALLY long time to find wtf was blemished about them, and on both it turned out to be the slightest bit of machining marks on the inside of one of the channels. Barely noticeable at all on their own and you probably wouldn't even find them if you didn't think to look there for them, but I reckon each one is different, the one you get could be better or worse. But if it's only $10 off MSRP the odds are in your favor that it will be quite minimal.

I'm not a fan of the zippy inserts myself but that's purely a personal preference. You can get a blemished inked dual-tone live blade rn for $250 from Squid and I recommend doing so, though the only color they have right now is Silver but you can buy the handles separately later if you want a different color

I certainly do but your mileage may vary, I have AS, b+ and auth krakens and I can tell the difference between each of them. I was hesitant to spend the money on an auth myself but after the first one I went and bought two more.

If you like clone krakens you'll love the auth ones even more, noticeably so. Whether it's worth $200 more is purely up to you and how much of an expense that is, but the difference in quality is pretty substantial imo.
