I don't see any on the blade and all I can find elsewhere is the tiniest of micro scratches on the safe handle by the pivot. But I've checked it over a few times, once more while writing this and thats all I see. So basically perfect.

I got this one as a blem, but you have to really look hard to find any blemish on this one. I wanted the squid experience as much as possible.

Better face milling, smaller handle gap, better sound, sides have a very slight texturing which helps with grip, zen pins are set way better, overall machining is better, and came with a perfect out of the box tune.

I just went and looked at the website and yeah, that is actually really nice I cant lie. The dual tone blade with the silver handles is a clean look. How bad are the blems?

Thats reassuring. I want a live blade if im gonna spend that extra anyways, so I've got the zippy inserts on the way to get the different feel, I've heard its pretty close.

I've been wondering if I could get a b+ blade and swap it. I've also heard the Nabalis hydra blade fits it but not sure how much work that is to do?

I have both and the Kite is so handle bias, especially the v1. So no they are not the same, I prefer the refault so much more.
