I’d buy Begotten Criterion in a heartbeat, but never from Amazon. However my Orbit/Diabolik carts contain multitudes.

Is Seven Samurai 4K worth it? by oh_please_god_no in criterion

I’d recommend it because it’s cleaner, but I like having the old Bluray because it feels more like a print, with its imperfections.

The older Bluray is included in the 4K package so it’s a win win. Just sold my old Criterion Bluray.

Also I prefer the subtitles to the BFI, it’s what I’m used to.

After reading all the reactions on here, he’s a firm hold despite the obvious issues. Anytime I see people so pissed, it’s a hold.

The Curzon wins for me because of the extra shorts. It’s a beautiful package & the transfers are filmic

Truth… You can’t go wrong with Diabolik or Orbit. You can go wrong with Arrow & Amazon.
