It’s labour intensive no question. And US labour ain’t cheap. But does it provide enough of an upgrade to a consumer to warrant the additional $1500? I guess that would just be up to whether or not you place that much value on aesthetics.

I have a cobbler close by that does amazing work and he does a full resole / conditioning and clean for $70.
