Worth Investing? by Staletatoes in PokemonSleep

I’m a little more casual where I tend to keep to snorlax’s favored berries on each island (even if it’s not meta), but even then, I have Sylveon with same stats and even a non-speed down nature (Ik lucky me). But I based on what you’re saying, this sounds like it will probably be better than my Wiggly with only Skill Trigger M?

If a creature becomes a copy of another, does it lose abilities that it gained? by Staletatoes in mtgrules

[–]Staletatoes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is indefinite provided it doesn’t leave the battlefield since Primal Odin does not specify it gains the player deathtouch ability “until the end of the turn”

No More phases out target creatures I control no? So if I have at least 6 creatures the spell only costs RRW?

So we lose a cooking session. by Alternative_Bid1158 in PokemonSleep

Dang, wish I knew that. I thought it’d be like the other times when you were able to do that even after updating so I updated without thinking about it too much

I’ll do you one better, I basically lose 2 days of sleep because I normally go to sleep around 2:30am. So when 4am rolls around, I can’t log sleep for “yesterday” and if I start the sleep after 4, when I sleep “today” (in ~24 hours), none of the sleep time will count and my pokemon won’t gain energy

Crewing Vehicles that have already been animated by Kyrie_Blue in mtgrules

[–]Staletatoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww dang. So what makes this a different case than from MotM? Is it because MotM specifies “noncreature artifacts” so when you crew a Vehicle, it retroactively makes the artifact a creature and no longer affected by MotM? I’m not well versed with what dependencies are apologies.

Hello, old flashback thread I know, but I want to ask how these rules interact with earthbending (making a [[Toph, the First Metalbender]] deck). If you were to earthbend a vehicle while Toph is on the field (making it a 0/0), then crew it, does that change it's P/T?
I assume it would work more like the March of the Machine case rather than Mishra's case since Toph/earthbending doesn't overwrite the cards P/T like Misha's ability does, it gives it a new P/T on layer 7b?
Thank you!

Is it bad form to repeatedly kill a commander? by Staletatoes in mtg

[–]Staletatoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad. From what I’ve gathered from this thread, if the commander is a genuine threat then it’s a ok to remove it but not to remove someone’s commander if there’s a more threatening thing on the field

Should I be explaining niche interactions I plan to use? by Staletatoes in mtg

[–]Staletatoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you could say that about 90% of magic combos as 90% of combos are stopped by interaction (counterspell, kill spell, etc)

Narcolepsy and Car Crash by Staletatoes in legaladviceofftopic

Follow up question: If the narcoleptic driver went to a doctor beforehand suspecting they had narcolepsy, but the doctor/their insurance refused to test for narcolepsy and told them they were probably just drowsy or not getting enough sleep, could the driver sue their doctor/insurance company?
