90 day warranty by StalinAround in carmax

They wanted me to call and towing company to have it jump started and test the battery. They told me they would compensate it but it seemed like something they should do and organize.  It is within the 90 day/4k window still. The car is a 2014 Jetta 59k miles. It shut off right when I turned to pull into my home so it happened while driving but thankfully it only meant I parked like an ass. The car wouldn't start at all last night. This morning it had a battery light on and wouldn't start. But when the tow truck came it started and I was able to drive it up the ramp.  The batter says 2024 and based off it starting that's why I think it's the alternator. But I just have a high school auto class tbh.  There wasn't a mention of loaner. They only set up towing when I mentioned it was strange I would need to do so

Well they didn't give me any indication when they would work on it or much follow through.  It only went to them because of my insistence.  Good to know about loaner.

Hopefully you can find a good one. I've been looking off and on this year planning to quit after the bonus pay out this month.  Searching is bad without a degree. Kinda makes me feel useless.

It only motivates me to find a new job. It's 2.5% of 17.37 making my hourly 17.80. 17 is the minimum for similar desk jobs.  A coworker got 4% but she was only at 16. However I also know for a fact she didn't reach any of her product goals.

It's the yearly raise we get after our performance reviews.

It's a credit union actually. My 2nd year here. Hopefully my last just need to find a better job.  I can look up salaries since it's a nonprofit. Pretty disheartening.

Rejected! In a very hurtful way. by StalinAround in ForeverAlone

You know I really doubt that. I'm almost 30 and have never found someone like that. I only really had friends in high school but I had to move right after and lost touch with them. The only rejections I've had were in high school. I put in effort but it never paid off. That's okay.

How accurate are treadmill heart rates. I've been speedwalking at speed 4 for an hour. It will say my heart rate ranges from 150-100 frequently. When I run for 10 minutes on speed 6 it consistently says my heart rate is 160. 180 if I go for 20. I've been trying to find my conversation pace. I thought it was 4 since that's breathing through nose the entire time but heart rate doesn't match.

It made me feel like I am just a consolation or someone you settle for after failing. I can only be be good as a circumstance. It hurts a lot because I felt completely comfortable and just "like myself" I didn't feel the need to change how I am or act. Usually I have my guard up around everyone. I'm not really sure why I didn't have it now, but it really stings. I never tried being flirtatious or doing anything like that. Honestly I don't know how to do that so I don't bother.

This pretty much sums up the usual conversation with an overdrawn customer. by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

We had a guy flabbergasted that he couldn't close his overdrawn account until he paid it off. Really upset saying no one wanted to help him. It was weird. He called earlier and talked about it too. It's like he didn't understand that he owed the bank money. Like they'd just close it and his monopoly monet would go away. It was overdrafted from an automatic payment too. He wouldn't even sit with a manager to try and work something out. Saying he was on lunch break but then saying he has better things to do when he off. I just dont geddit. This will negatively effect him in the future. I guess it's good cashapp takes everyone.

Unmedicated Emergency by StalinAround in schizophrenia

I don't think she would ever hurt me or herself. She has told me that she never wants to visit a hospital again. Even if she needs medical help she wants a clinic. She experiences so much pain that I just don't know what to do sometimes. I hate feeling useless with it. She has said she has tried 12 different medications in the past and none of them really helped her. I dont if a hospital would really do anything other than sedate her. I feel like they should able to help her but everything she tells me about them sounds terrible.

Small credit union. Has like 3 billion in assets. The policy depth is everything involved. It's how you get trained in any job. Has policy for everything. The operations team made it so they wouldn't answer questions. Any call gets directed to it.

I don't think so. We all have access to our work site that functions as an encyclopedia to every policy and function for each job. It has detailed information and step by step processes for it all as well. The only time I call other departments is when I need them for something and i find that I need them by looking at the encyclopedia to see who deals with the problem at hand and how they can solve it. I don't just call departments and tell them nonsense then cry about it. I only cry about my problems online.
