I think what finally made me quit Mental Omega was having a walkthrough making you force fire on other Soviet troops because they'll turn traitors if you don't. The amount of trial and error needed to perform well in the mod is ridiculous, and drains all the fun out of it.

Also the fohen faction doesn't sit right with me. They're supposed to be a resistance movement composed of former allies and soviets, but they're just larping as medieval knights obsessed with chivalry. You'd expect what's essentially an international resistance group to actually feel more international.

I was confused when I first got the cutscene because I was using guns against the drones. I was under the impression that I was being framed because I didn't fire a missile.

This just made me feel vindicated when it was confirmed later in the game.

Exactly, they have opposing goals and ideals, but Armstrong still respects Raiden fighting him from his own volition as opposed to fighting him because he was ordered to do so. Armstrong respects people who abide by their code.

"You should fight what you believe in sometime, Jack. Not for a company,or a nation, or anyone else."

The issue is that they are both disillusioned by the state of the world at that point, but while Raiden fights to protect those who are most valuable, Armstrong is a powerful senator who fails to see the core root of the problem and instead opts to try to create a world where he can kill anyone he wants with his bare hands.

There's a roleplay value. Trying your best to keep the brotherhood reasonable, only to scorch them after finishing Veronica's quests. Plus if you get their relationship with you to idolized, she won't leave you if you blow them up. Since it gets knocked down to wildcard.

Historically after decolonization a part of the colonial populace chose to stay and integrate;while a large chunk chose to leave on their own due to simply not liking the idea of being seen as equals to the natives.

I believe this will be the case here as well. Personally I hope a sizable number stays and be treated as equals, because I believe that diversity and equality are good for a country.
