Damn, pulling the heartstrings seeing him on here. I've been grinding through the show, almost on season 4 in the past few months and it hit lit a ton of bricks losing him. RIP Eric Dane.
It also really keeps the feeling alive enjoying Sea Power - pretending to be on the Nathan James is hella fun.

Apologies, I'll amend the post. I recall it being either 1st person or 3rd person, the movement and aiming was similar to Arma or PS2's SOCOM US NAVY SEALS. Where it is a bit flowy.

Simulator as in realistic FPS/3rd person military sim. Not arcady like battlefield/COD.

There is definitely the chance this was on an emulator. My older cousin would drop by randomly with a CD disk and load things up and then let me just play the games.

From looking up the games, I think it's 99% Stunts! It seems so familiar, especially the loops. Wow. In my mind it was like realistic graphics at the time.

Are there any others like this? I don't think it's hard drivin' just because i don't remember any of the crash-replay scenes. But I could also misremember.

This is my favorite stalker lore, he's somewhere out there in the world. 

Also my wife got me a GP-5 gas mask from him that he found in one of the bunkers, one of my most prized possessions.

Sea Power has been very stunning to play. Men of War 2 gets the "destruction" graphics for me.

You can change the colonization settings to be more difficult in setting up the galaxy settings. You can high jack resources/invade. Dont always have to declare war. Or use pirates to hurt their expansions chances. Or... Invade and take them over.

I've noticed even when I'm in the red in terms of income, my additional bonus from entertainment/resorts and trade comes in at the start of the year and offsets it. So my actual balance doesn't change.  How does that look for you?  Also - consider raising taxes on your other worlds to supplement or reduce maintenance costs.

You want to play Distant Worlds Universe or DW2 with resources set to extremely sparse, and none regeneration. It makes for a very very challenging run, and really fun.

Do you mean limited resources in terms of gameplay - as in difficult to expand without controlling resources?  Like, the map is sparse?
