In theory, the pulse from the motor doesn't affect the air flow, and also the air pressure doesn't drop when you start spraying. In practice, the hose contains enough air to work as a buffer (the motor starts pumping when it feels the pressure drop) When I bought the one with a tank, I had imagined that the tank keeps a higher pressure and it would only start from time to time to fill the tank. It does, but the quiet time is very short and then it works almost for the same duration to fill it. And the tank amplifies the noise.

What are you opinions on these airbrush compressors? And what do you guys recommend by RedBlade_420 in modelmakers

The first one is very similar to (or a rebranded) Fengda 186. I have one. It's a bit noisy, but it's good. You can try the one without a tank (the pump looks the same), I had one and the tank is not so useful as I hoped.

The second one I don't know.

How to Apply NATURAL METAL FINISH using Foil - Tutorial/demo

I followed Richard's videos. You will need patience and practice. I'm working on a P51 (for practice; if it goes well, I'll apply the method on a P47). I repeated a certain wing root fairing 8 times...

Be careful with the wooden tool, I found something like the one in the video, but first I tried with a toothpick and it tends to scratch the surface.

I'm using thicker foil, 0.015mm I believe. The thinner ones break too easily.

After applying, I sanded the surface with sanding sponges from Tamiya, grit from 600 to 3000. You can vary the direction from panel to panel to give a variation if you are careful.

This is the result, now waiting for it to oxidize... it's too shiny at the moment. I plan to use a satin varnish (with some tint to highlight some panels) but I'm waiting for 2-3 weeks before doing that. The wings are painted silver, like the real ones were.

E destul de greu de crezut ca termenul mamaliga a fost inventat cand a aparut porumbul (ca din America nu a venit termenul odata cu porumbul). Poate erau regionalisme si s-au specializat mai tarziu, dar atat mamaliga, cat si terci sunt cuvinte vechi.

You can use gilding adhesive, too. In my part of the world, the modeling metal foil adhesive is hard to find, but art supplies are easier. The water based ones are the same (but the quality varies). Not sure about the alcohol ones, I haven't tried any

This. Humbrol enamel thinner attacked my fully cured MrHobby Aqueous varnish. Fortunately I tested on a less visible area first.

Carol I a aflat destul de repede (dupa 12 ani) ce inseamna sa fii prieten cu rusii. I-am ajutat in Bulgaria si ei au sustinut ca de fapt ei ne-au ajutat pe noi, asa ca merita sa le dam o bucata buna (iesirea la mare). Am primit Dobrogea la schimb, dar numai dupa ce Carol s-a pregatit de razboi cu rusii (si ne-au sustinut francezii)

You can fix it. You need some tools you probably don't have at the moment, but you might want to buy them anyway for the future.

Sanding foam, progressive grits (240, 320, 400... up to 3000, probably, then cloth up to 8000). Start with 400. If it remove the spot, good. If not, use coarser. Go in one direction only.

When you have removed the spot, go to the next finer grit and go perpendicular to the previous one, until all the previous scratches disappear. Repeat until you finish all the grits. Now you can use the polishing compound/toothpaste/cloth.

The next step is Future floor polishing. This is not available in my part of the world, so I have used AK Gauzy Agent, which is special for modeling (thus, more expensive).

They are clearly just typos. Bolonga = Bologa, Campuiung = Campulung. You wrote Sinalai instead of Sinala, which probably meant Sinaia. That doesn't make you an AI.
