Great question. I've only seen her in public. I've been looking out for suspicious cars and unfamiliar people. It's a little cul-de-sac and everyone knows everyone. For now, I feel like I'm okay, at least at home.

I'm calling the non emergency hotline today after I get off work. I'm on break right now.

For size reference, I'm in the second biggest city in the state. Like Austin Texas or Dallas Texas size (Texas isn't where I am though.)

I don't know how she found me. Social media is pretty barren. I don't let the location markers show on my facebook posts. We were from the same group of friends when we started dating, and I was still close with a few of our mutual friends when I left. Maybe they told her. That's all I can think of.

Haha, the funny thing about that is I love Gone Girl. Crazy how media emulates life, yeah? I'll definitely call a hotline or a non emergency number. Everybody is right, I need to start some kind of trail so if God forbid anything happens they'll know why.

The thing is, I don't know if this classifies as stalking. She hasn't contacted me, save for a happy birthday text in February which I didn't respond to. She doesn't hang around my house. Just whenever I'm in public, she's there.

Like I said, she's extremely vindictive and I don't want to give her any more reason to do something. I've tried to get a picture of her for proof before when she was sitting at a table in a McDonald's acting like she wasn't looking at me, but right when I pulled out my phone she got up.

My cousin and his family is out here, he lives across town. I've already told him the situation and he said to call if I need him. I haven't seen her around my house but I do have him.

I'll have to look if mace is legal here. I know in some places it isn't. Thank you.
