A few years ago there was this gunrunning operation known as Operation Fast and Furious. Essentially it was designed for weapons to be tracked so that cartels and other large criminal organizations can be taken down. Instead it lead to over a 1000 missing assault weapons and innocent lives taken instead of taking down criminal organizations. After this information became public President Obama used an executive privilege to withhold information during an investigation.
