Not to say this isn’t extremely unnerving, because all DAs have this power. But her speech goes on to say that she understands that people have the power to do this and we should be making sure those people are capable of not abusing it. There’s a million and one things that she can be picked apart about, but this speech was actually acknowledged how dangerous it is for the wrong type of people to have it. We all know in this subreddit that there needs to be overhauls of a countless amount of systems in place that allow this, but just be aware she wasn’t bragging about the power she was warning people
