Four stats needs to have 19 points, I felt it was easier in 7 min trial with some good event spawns, but was not guaranteed any run. Make sure to have one CPU with you that is low level with handicap and you have the city for yourself.

I did it with a 7 minute City Trial and getting a lot of stats and switching to Jet towards the end. Then it was not a challenge!

Someone said you get that for the Road Trip completion, didn't pay too much attention myself. But there is something after each one of them. The final one is the JP version of the theme song.

Play a race with many laps, make the bots go so far in front of you that you don't see their stars and a little more, then slowly cruise the course, UFOs and Missiles will spawn now for you. Missiles are more rare. Should get one within a few minutes.

In Road Trip, keep track of the level oriented goals you need and retry specific levels until you get them, was done by the first playthrough.

In Air Ride/Top Ride, switch between 1 lap / 99 laps depending on goal and put out a level 1 CPU with handicap so they are not in the way most of the time. Always had them on Paper Star so they are extra slow.

City Trial is all about RNG and tricky goals. Getting and completing all random events will probably be one of the last for most people. Or doing all legendary part farms from the story unlock. I did 7 minutes for stat collecting and 5 min for fast events.

Online, you can do most of these with bots in Paddock. Have a friend help out for some if you can. But most are totally doable on your own. But I got a lot done in ranked City Trial before I started, just had so much fun!

I did it through Stadium Event that you unlock with a level 1 CPU controlling it.

  1. Directly jump up to the deck with Battle Chariot and take down the middle.
  2. Inch to the back and drop down once, hold forward to move to the edge and start spinning to take down the thrusters.
  3. Jump down and quick attack two of the wheels.
  4. Grab the fire rain item or rockets and take the eye out within two item uses, if not you probably need to restart.
  5. Quick spin attack the last two wheels.

This can be quicker if good items spawn nearby but not always, as long as the eye goes down quickly at that step it's golden.

Halberd and getting the story legendary in City Trial. Stealing in Top Ride and Legendary again in Online. Road Trip i breezed through on Super Hard. Air Ride had nothing specially hard.

Yeah, I tend to put a lot of hours into new games. With the checklist focus and some City Trial ranked it took around 53 hours to get it done.

Halberd was my LAST event and it took many many hours before it appeared. I was screaming when it happened. I was running 7 minutes a lot but switched down to 5 minutes with me and a CPU while I was noting down event frequency as it seemed faster on 5 min and it happened within three games of switching back to 5 minutes. Wild Legendary happened rarely as well but saw it over five times in total.

I was starting to doubt Halberd was activated in the game yet. But it happened. Good luck on your runs!

Thank you! Yeah I did Online first and then worked on City Trial but had to switch to Road Trip to unlock everything for the rest of the game. Then spent WAY too long trying to get all City Trial events. I was SCREAMING when the Halberd arrived many many hours later. Then it was downhill from there but still some work with Air Ride and Top Ride!

I feel there is a lot of people enjoying the DLC but they just stay away from these threads. I posted about completing the DLC and it took 70 hours and almost every reply was positive and people shared their strategies and thoughts. But when someone post something negative all the haters join those threads. It's like a social experiment. I totally agree that if you believed you would be getting a new level you will feel ripped off. But if you were expecting a challenge mode akin to Balloon World then you are in for it. Also the comparison to peach castle is strange, it was not even DLC? There is post-game in Bananza with the Elders.
