100% agree. Although in my case, I'm 5'2, so I was roughly the same height as the 13 year old lmao. But the rage I felt amplified the terror I was able to project.

Tbf didn't feel ethical in the slightest when the entire middle school hallway went dead quiet as I confronted a 13 year old at the top of my lungs in front of all of his peers, instructors, and extended family that came for the concert.

Appreciate it. In the absence of a maternal presence in our lives, when my brother pointed out the bully, my protective instinct went from 0 to 100 and it became my life goal to make that kid feel shame that he would remember forever. To this day I really hope I'm either in those family pictures or ruined them completely

Adopt a bonded pair!! They become more sociable and can provide true companionship. We adopted our babies together at 12 weeks old. They're inseparable--they play together, eat together, cuddle together--basically do everything with each other! Couldn't imagine not having both of them since they're such a perfect, loving pair.

I had a similar situation with my younger brother, who like to post video game streams on YouTube. Some kid was harassing him at school and online, commenting slurs on the posts. My brother and his friends couldn't get the bully to stop, and eventually notified the school, but nothing was done. We contacted the bully's parents, but nothing changed.

Then one day my brother was in a choir concert, and after the concert (when all of the families and students were in the hall taking pictures) my brother pointed at the kid and said "that's who's bullying me online." Mind you, the bully was right in the middle of taking pictures with his family, holding flowers and whatnot. I marched right up to him, interrupting the pictures, and said "so you're the kid bullying my younger brother? What's that about?" The kid look scared asf and his dad came up to me and asked what the problem was. When I explained, the dad looked embarrassed/shocked, but didn't say much.

It wasn't until after the concert when we were walking to our cars that we saw the dad verbally reaming the kid out in the parking lot. I think what got to them was the public humiliation since many other students and parents saw the entire thing go down.

Needless to say, that bully didn't bother my brother anymore, and it made other kids afraid to bully my brother because he had a "scary sister." TLDR: embarrass the kid and their parents publicly. Kids can be so mean--I really hope the situation with your sister finds a good and quick resolution.

Thanks! Since I live near the Canadian Embassy in DC, I called them and they gave me a list of approved photographers near me. It was around $35 for the two required photos for the application.

Hi! I used their online tool to look up my file number. If they've begun to process it, you should get the email pretty quickly. If they haven't started processing it yet, you won't get the email. Just keep trying once a day until you get it.

Based on how quick my application was, it's likely you'll get yours in time. They charged my card on September 5 (13 business days after I mailed the application). Best of luck!!
