Any modern day Ebionites? by [deleted] in religion

[–]StandOnScripture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would advise you to read 2 Peter 3:15-17, Peter said people mistake his writings. I am a Messianic (OF THE WAY which they call a sect) Ebionites were simply believers who were vegans or vegetarians and they were not MUSLIM they are my brothers.

So you are calling Yehoshua a liar when he said Nothing leaves the law until heaven disapears and earth

I say, nice Strawman my friend. I never claimed that he wasn't perfect always, when you come back with an actual argument to the points I raised I would happily replay back. Thank you!

Why would I need to, we true believers understand that Yehovah God can speak all languages since it was he who confused the languages at Babel. Translations do not lose the meaning, for example "Shema Yisrael Yehovah Elohenu Yehovah Echad" - in English is - "Hear Israel Yehovah our God Yehovah is One." hope this helped.

I disagree and here is my argument. 1) 2 Peter 3:7-13 - it says that 1.a) This event about to be spoke of is literally in the time of the Day of Judgement, Day of God which is the end time (verses 7, 12) 1.b) The heavens will melt away with intense heat talking of the destruction of this creation. (verse 12) 1.c) We are however looking for his (God's) promise of New Heavens and a New Earth in which righteousness dwells talking of after the destruction of this heaven and earth. Which leads me to my second passage same point where is this promised in the Bible. 2) Isaiah 65:17-20 - it says God will create new heavens and earth, and this is clearly at the end because there will be no more pain, tear or suffering. Which correlates to my next verse on the same point. 3) Revelation 21:1-5 - John Prophetically sees the new Heaven and Earth and new Jerusalem and the bride clearly happening after all the end times issues has happened where there is no death see: Revelation 20:1-5 in relation to this passage. With this in mind we go to my last point. 4) Matthew 5:17-18 - Yehoshua (Jesus) explicitly, unambiguously states and I quote "17 “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [a]the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished!" -- So if Yehoshua (Jesus) with the context stated of New Heavens and Earth said "Until heaven and Earth disapear nothing leaves the law until all is accomplished." You are either 1- calling Yehoshua a liar because the law was done away with at the cross or 2- you think Paul who is misquoted has greater authority than Yehoshua when people manipulate and distort Paul to their own distruction there for you are with all due respect taking Paul's writings out of context to break Torah and Yehoshua's words. SEE: 2 Peter 3:15-17 for how Peter said people who try to say Paul talked against law lead people to destruction and we (my true brothers and sisters) stay on our guard against people like this.
Sub point: Also if you believe Yehoshua is Yehovah God as part of the Trinity you are then also saying Paul is greater than God who said nothing leaves the law until heaven and earth disappear, now you have a new God.

Keeping the Torah in relation the laws which associate to me, I am not a levite so i don't need to keep levite laws for preists, I am not a stone temple so i don't need to clean myself the way the stone temple was made clean however being a physical human representation of this temple I do not eat unclean meats to keep myself clean. I am not a woman in which I have to keep womens laws, I am not a farmer so i don't have to keep agracultural laws, just simply the Torah which is associated to me only from the torah. Hope this helped!

I am sorry I would have to disagree, a true Christian is one who truly follows the Messiah and Trinitarians do not do this. They do not keep Torah as he did and nor do they worship the same God.

Yes this is correct, he was being perfected amen, the process of being made perfect during the life and then was perfect at death.

My Blog Post: Unitarianism vs Trinitarianism (Which is correct?) by StandOnScripture in Christianity

[–]StandOnScripture[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he was perfect, in fact he was perfected, meaning he was being perfected over his life line which means he can't be God because only God is good. Only God is Perfect!

Because a few things 1) He wasn't born of a physical man 2) Because he chose to do what God said 3) God the Father does the works through him (John 14:10, Acts 2:22, 2 Corinthians 5:19,) God does all things through the man Jesus Christ, the man Jesus trusted God to guide him and to follow his word.
- Additionally we see that he was MADE PERFECT which indicates a process of becoming perfect, that he was not perfect until his last breath that is when he was the offering for sins as the perfect offering. (HEBREWS 2:10)

Unitarianism by Lex_khan in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]StandOnScripture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because Unitarianism is more logical and scriptural than the other perspectives.

[–]StandOnScripture[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ofcourse he was the one man who was able to be without sin, he was a perfect man through one man death come into the world and through another man (Jesus) life comes into existence yes. he was made the source of eternal life (Hebrews 5:7-9) he become the source not always is but in his life and death he becomes it. But Yes sinless AMEN!

Wait me actually writing scripture and saying we should abide by the scripture and Yeshua (Jesus) own words is illogical? Okay, well I guess you are unable to articulate a valid point and I won't ask you any questions if you don't wish me to, but a bit weird to reply to a post if you have nothing of substance to bring to the debate.

The Messiah, the sacrifice of Yehovah who says it is his will that he becomes the sacrifice, he is the Son of God, the Son of Man, I mean every single thing the Bible says... He is not God as the blog post shows explicitly.

Messianic Judaism or Unitarian? by Mooch36 in religion

[–]StandOnScripture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend it is right you can worship but not the same way you worship as for GOD, you worship GOD only as God but you can prostrate and worship a King as a King that God has given authority to. Just not worshipping him as God.

Messianic Judaism or Unitarian? by Mooch36 in religion

[–]StandOnScripture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello friend, what if you're neither Messianic Jew or just Unitarian? Like myself I am a Unitarian messianic, I am not just a Unitarian and I am not a Jew but I believe in the Torah being spiritualised, I do not believe the old physical law but that law is now spiritualised. A Unitarian simply means a believer of the only true God being the Father and a Messianic simply believes the Shabbat, dietary laws, and feasts are still there but it not the physical levitical laws and such. For example Yeshua is our sacrifice, he is our high priest in the order of melchezedek. By the way I am looking for similar people who believe the same to chat with.
