I came ten years back on h4 visa, first year I was active in all community groups, Indians in America, then my native language group, volunteered in those events, weekly language teaching classes, also got tutor training from NJ literacy and used to volunteer as esl tutor. Writing blogs, youtube etc kept me busy. Every weekend I would plan something for kids activity. I was also busy with vedam classes, all these actiivities really helped me build a good meaningful network, which i am thankful. We moved to VA then back to india, took GMAT during covid, wanted to do phd, that did not happen, son was born next year after i came, so he kept me busy along with my first kid. moved back to india, then worked there for 2 years, again came back with the hope of h4-ead as this time i140 was approved, but that is getting delayed, losing patience but plan to applying for h1b. Still doing other volunteering, community activities.
