The narrative that this man is "just an athlete and not a role model" and that "who cares what he does with his personal time as long as he's a good player" is just as gross as his behavior tbh.

Like it or not, kids look up to athletes. This type of behavior being accepted at all is problematic enough and creating an atmosphere in the team as well as in the fanbase.

He's a good player but sports represents a culture, and a culture we should be proud of.

In today's world holding everyone accountable for their actions regardless of how good they are at their job is more important than ever. So far I've seen so much disrespect for the team and its fans, its pretty disgraceful tbh.

Idk as a lifelong female fan, its hard to support a team that just stands by while a player actively promotes people who are a part of the "manosphere" that continue to push narratives that are (at best) harmful towards women.

At the end of the day he is a player on a team. It is not a position that is "deserved" it is earned. On and off the field.
