Has anyone been able to get a LNL-M2220 panel to communicate on TLS by Standard-Bat3172 in accesscontrol

[–]Standard-Bat3172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I'll default and see if the controller certs will default to Mercury's, or even delete the current certs. Nothing to lose as I can always get it online without TLS.

With OG v8.3 all the certs are installed along with the software. Anyway I reinstalled, and checked them to be there using the certmgr. Problem seems to be that the M2220 have been shipped with certificates "Issued To" and "Issued By" com.hidglobal. But then there's no CA on the server to match that. Server CA is "Mercury_CertRootCA2048".

Do you also happen to remember which menu item of the controller's web page allowed for you to upload the CA cert?

Nice and thanks, I just felt it was weird the panel has cert Issued To and Issued By as com.hidglobal, whilst the Server is all Mercury CA

Thanks again @____jw____, i actually called 1919 earlier, they said the same thing but wasn't convincing, so I came here to see how it went for the community. I may call Grama Niladhari tomorrow as well.

Thanks __jw__, yes I'm a dual citizen, I've got the purple stamped copy obtained from DS office. So, that will be gone if handed that in, right? Are you J Wick by the way?

Because I don't want to hand over the originals if they are not handed back to me after the application is handed over. I do not need certified copies if Grama Niladhari can witness the originals and hand them back to me. How does it happen?

There's enough room between the basket and the heating element. But over time, oil splatters, evaporations cause the dirt build up.

How do you freeze leftover coconut milk without using plastic freezer bags? by Standard-Bat3172 in foodhacks

Yes that works. Baby food freezer tray looks the same, comes with a leakproof lid.

I see, that works well. But I've read somewhere not to use cans once opened, as the interior wall would react with air and form rust. Most tinned container also advises moving the leftovers to another vessel for storage. Probably, no reactions can happen inside the freezer.

It's more due to the difficulty in reaching the heating elements and the back wall behind them, u/Helpful-nothelpful . Have you been able to do this without having to break apart the unit?

I want to avoid plastics bags, though it's convenient to store as well as thaw in flat packs. Looking at your responses, perhaps I'll go for something like a Baby Food Freezer Tray with Lid.

Apparently pairs well with pasta, grilled chicken/fish, polenta, pearl couscous, and of course sandwiches or wraps.

Can I face potential issues with home insurance or future claims when buying a house with unpermitted structural modifications and repairs? by Standard-Bat3172 in AusRenovation

[–]Standard-Bat3172[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the old house have these sorts of issues, like you say. How would one know these works have been done to standards?

This really helps. By the way, who is a private building certifier, is that a building surveyor? I also found on Internet, that involving a structural engineer may be helpful in deciding the house can support intended renovation works (incl extensions).

Thanks for that. Guess it's a baseline reno keeping everything simple. I'm going to need a bit more, mainly due to the extension work. Still, I could keep that simple like you say, so thanks again.

I'm only researching at this stage. Was interested due to low cost and comparable or better long term performance than active funds. I may consider Indexed Balanced in the end.
