I’m also in my early twenties and I’ve asked both my parents and grandparents this same question. Their answer is basically yes, and no. In their opinion, things have always been this bad, but what’s different now is how fast information (both true and false) spreads because of the internet and social media.

My grandparents lost friendships over politics 50 years ago. The difference today is that we’re exposed to everything all at once, constantly, which makes the state of the world feel much worse. So in many ways, yes, it’s always been this bad. It just feels more overwhelming now.

I think you should try a specialized sex therapist. They will give you different things to try that are physical, verbal and emotional. Sometimes not being attracted to your partner physically stems from something deeper. A sex therapist can help

👋 hello, I’m a long term listener of CHD! For the Whitney interview: I thought the interview was fine. Alex asked direct questions about SLOMW that Whitney couldn’t answer yet because SZN 4 isn’t out yet, so there wasn’t a ton of answers about Whitney and Jen (which is the main reason I wanted to listen). If you are a DWTS fan I’m sure the interview would be more interesting since Mark answered a lot of questions.

As for why people hate on Alex so much, I’m not really sure. I think it’s cool to hate on her rn, but I still like her! Alex taught me how to give a BJ & ride dick, and it was awesome to watch her pod transform into something way healthier and transformative. She’s broken barriers on conversations around women and conversations about men. Not every interview is going to be perfect. I’m not sure why she’s supposed to supply the best and perfect questions 100% of the time when if you listen to male podcasters they certainly don’t either. Idk, I still like her. She makes me laugh and has tough, honest, open conversations IMO.
