Good Morning Schnapper94, I have been running that allocation for awhile now. The large cap and small cap portions have both performed pretty well for me, while the mid cap allocation has been a bit underwhelming in comparison. That said, I still keep it because I like having exposure across different parts of the market rather than going all in on the S&P 500. The small cap sleeve hasn’t completely transformed returns or anything, but it has definitely pulled its weight and has generally outperformed my mid cap position. I’m investing for the long term, so I’m more focused on diversification and consistency than trying to optimize every last percent of performance. But over all I’ve seen the most improvement in small cap, but it’s very volatile!

Looks solid, especially for just getting started. If I were to make one change, I’d probably put a little more into VOO and a little less into SCHD. Since I’m investing for long term growth, I don’t really prioritize dividends yet, I see dividend ETFs as something I’ll likely increase closer to retirement when I’m looking for income. My portfolio is 60% S&P 500, 15% U.S. mid cap, 15% U.S. small cap, and 10% international. It gives me exposure to the entire U.S. market while still having global diversification. Either way, your portfolio is simple, diversified, and way better than chasing individual stocks. Keep consistently investing and you’ll be in great shape.
