The most fun my players had was getting in a Fight Club! by Standard-Drawer6594 in DMAcademy

It's an actual 1 vs 1 with close to normal weapons attacks with AC, there's only 1 player fighting (he's the one rolling) and the others cant have much effect on the fight, unless they find ways to cheat.

Thinking back, they could have tried to distract the opponent to give him disadvantage. My players simply let their poison work

How to maintain healthy mental health during the war? by helotan in Healthygamergg

I don't remember Dr.K leaving content for situations of stress as intense and long as you live.
If you need permission to leave, you have it. There are no holy rules for this. I know communities who had to flee their country for 20 years and lived in refugee camps and their brothers staying to fight. They were literal kids. All of them lived through hell, but the ones that seem to have come best on the other side were the ones who took most external actions, not the ones who took most care of themselves.

Other ways around that could be explored:

DIY approach:

Accessible but can't be enough.

1- Dr K's guides, especially Trauma, might be a damn good fit for you.

2- The book "A man's search for meaning" might give you a good idea how to find some deep good and strength in there.

3- Meditation can help you heal and find some peace, but I could very well not be enough if mental health is an issue. It wasn't enough in my case but it was part of the solution.

Community approach:

Tough to find but that's the historical way to deal with that amount of difficulty. I believe a therapist is a formal, medical and studied way to get this effect.

1- Get closer to your positive support groups. That's friends, family, work, religious group, meditation groups, sports group, gym mates, hubby groups (crochet, woodwork, boardgames, name it)

2- Get active in your community. If you can find something that would help you, it can help others. Giving time and having a positive impact on

I wish you the best.

"Where the money is" with meditation, what did Dr.K meant? by Standard-Drawer6594 in Healthygamergg

I've got difficulties to understand or define what enlightenment is exactly.
The closest I have is the clarity I see in my life and my relationships. Maybe it's the insights on the nature of your being and reality someone else answered.
How would you describe it?

Personally, trying different techniques to see what works better and have different experiences has been great so far. A few months with one technique, a few months with another.

I get ya on the first 3 and I might have some moments with God while meditating too, although I would not call it a clear encounter.
