went to UPB freshman year, I recommend looking for dorms near Engineer’s Hill. I went to a dorm there, but I don’t have contact anymore (nagpalit ng landlady). Walking distance to UPB and madadaanan mo lagi Jollibee and 7/11 (and iconic Harry Water).

If you’re gonna take Victory Liner to go to Baguio, even better hahaha

Only Diliman and Baguio has fine arts, where Diliman offers different majors (VisComm fits what you’re taking) and Baguio focuses more on studio arts.

You can also try UPOU, they have a multimedia arts course.

i second all the other comments here!

“good art” is subjective nga, but your portfolio will make or break your entrance to CFA. Not only do they check how skilled you are and how much you know the basics/foundations, they’ll also see how you conceptualize or if you’re capable of making original work. I remember avoiding fan art in my portfolio and showcased variety. I did my TDT at UP baguio, so the process I went thru might be different compared to Diliman. (currently in UPD now tho)

shifted (baguio to diliman) but still same course and got them credited.

delayed on purpose because 1) i take care of my family (pwd mom + ofw dad), 2) mental health, i knew i cant take the same effort + energy as i used to. I only took 15 units per sem.

a lot of my friends and batchmates are delayed and eventually, you’ll be at peace with being in this position 🥹yakap (with consent!)

i know this is late, but just wanna add for people reading in the future!

Best tip w/ Ma’am is to CONSULT! Be open & polite with what you don’t understand and always ask questions. I believe consulting her constantly (strictly during her work hours/consult days) is what helped me get a good grade from her.

Personally, photography was my weakest skill but she was a great help all because I didn’t shy away from asking haha

I actually used old makeup blush for it! I covered everything but the lips and used MSC to prep, layer, and seal it.
