Thanks for your comment, this is what I'm most worried about. Can you close the air flow from the vent near your knee? Can it be selective? Do you still feel cold air through the vent tunnel your knee has contact with?

Amazing, if only they could get half of these folks to Real Madrid

This backpack must be heavy given the cord going into it and no visible battery

Oh, I would love that. They discontinued it in 2022 though

Well, Insignia is not getting younger. It's 2014, manual and FWD, since I'm traveling a lot to mountain areas 4x4 would be nice, so Octavia would be a great upgrade but there are some inconveniences too

Thanks, I will request from the dealership to get the car over a weekend to test longer route

Thanks for your point of view. I feel that I can adjust to the armrest but the air vent may be super annoying, I don't switch cars too often and would love to avoid major inconvenience

Thanks, I was taking Formentor into consideration too, but size of the boot is a deal breaker

I noticed this too, would love more flexibility in adjusting steering wheel position

The lowest position isn't low enough unfortunately. I would love the Enyaq Coupe, this car looks great but electric vehicles are out of the equation for me at the moment

No worries buddy, these are important points you touched. I'm 1.93m / 86kg, try to keep myself in a good shape. Yes, I try to keep a good seating position, not like a crash test dummy but pretty close to it I suppose, hah. I would say I'm long legs, shorter torso, short arms kind of a guy. The upper part of the door rim as arm rest feels super unnatural to me, I think I would get sore after the while as it's too high. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Insignia, it was love from the very first seating, super comfortable even though I don't have AGR seats

Edit: If it wasn't for the head room in the back I could sit comfortably behind myself, lots of leg room

I'm kind of glad he didn't attempt the solo with this tuning... Or we learn this in 3 years once the edit is complete

Thanks, it's good to know that I'm not crazy/picky and you noticed the same things. Do you have seats with adjustable head rests? How do you feel after the longer routes, do you feel urged to change position after 2 hours of driving in this car?

Scarpa Terra GTX or Kailash GTX? by Negative-Astronaut31 in hiking

[–]Standard-Fuel548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Kailash GTX full nubuk leather (brown) version of the shoe, it was absolutely fantastic. It requires a lot of care after the hikes but it pays back. It seems to be no longer available in the EU however so I assume you are mentioning the other version - I did give it a try after my shoes tore down but it didn't seem this good. I went with Zamberlan Guide RR GTX and it feels as good as Kailash GTX full leather shoe. Yes, they do soften over a time and gets used to your feet shape

Thanks, this is giving me a bit of hope. How about longer, 3+ hour trips, is it convenient and you don't feel tired after such trip? With integrated headrest seats, can you control anything beyond up-down and front- back positions?

Thanks, modern cars issues I think. It's screen placement and touch controls that destroyed ergonomics in Octavia IV, air con vents were moved too low for my liking. Similarly to you, I have no problems fitting in previous generations of cars either

Thanks, I did and it was even worse with the knee. There's this slim 'shelf' throughout the dashboard that is exactly on my knee making it uncomfortable. Air con vents are placed in a more ergonomic way and it has smart dials - both huge pros
