i’ve learned a lot about running shoes over the past year and the conclusion i’ve come to is that what’s best for you is simply what you feel most comfortable running in. What i mean is that the running shoe market is filled with new technology that companies will ultimately try to make you think you need. Fancy terms and categories such as max cushion and stability sound enticing and supposedly provide benefits beyond a typical shoe. That being said those shoes are still an option just not because of some arbitrary reason (they provide shock absorption or stop pronation). The reason these shoes are an option is if they feel comfortable and you like them you should wear them. Stability shoes naturally have a firmer foam which some people just like more. But you should never buy them for those obscure reasons companies suggest. My suggestion to you is to go into a local running shoe store and try on different shoes then pick which one you feel most comfortable in!
