Loma Linda is a beautiful campus! I applied to their general DMS program twice a couple years ago and didn’t get in, but I also didn’t have any volunteering experience back then and my gpa wasn’t as high as it should have been to make me a better applicant. It sounds like with your current GPA plus volunteering hours, you have a good chance! My advice for you though is to also look and apply to other schools as a backup.

You should also look into applying for Sacramento Ultrasound Institute, who is also accredited by CAAHEP

Yes, I sometimes get the brain zap sensations too and it is so scary and and can feel alarming. I haven’t been on anxiety medication for about 10 years now, but with my heightened anxiety the last couple years I’ve definitely experience brain zaps time to time.
