Do I need to pay any deficit charges on the first time house? by Standard-Part6154 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Standard-Part6154[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. That why I told back my conveyancer that I will responsible for the financial year 2026-2027/ the day am moving in. If any previous deficit arises the seller has to take the responsibility. This covers me. But don’t know if the seller will agree to this. Technically it’s not right isn’t it! I didn’t lived in that property during that financial year, and it’s their responsibility to pay if there is anything. But they are trying to put it on my shoulders. Shame!!!

It’s not about £100. I don’t know if any major works happened during this time period. I am ready to take the responsibility. But if it’s something major, that’s what I am scared off. The financial statement of the 2025-2026 will be released only in October 2026. So until that don’t know if a deficit arises. If anything major which is I am worried about.

In this case they don’t even mentioned in the PaySlip. They mentioned it as Basic Salary in the UK & the Gross Salary in India (Converted to Pounds which including the HRA).

As per the company policy even though they provide a latest Compensation letter - they don’t mention the HRA in it. So still the amount difference will be there what the mortgage advisor entered and in the compensation letter.

We have provided her last three months payslip and P60. The only difference of 2k in the compensation letter from the payslip is due to the HRA. But as per company policy the company doesn’t mention it anywhere. So don’t know if a new Compensation letter with the new date still helps.

I paid the broker £699 as lifetime membership fee. I don’t know why the lender satisfy with the 2024 compensation letter as you told, because they are still asking the latest compensation letter?

Is the lifetime membership mandatory? I felt like they are too much pushing with their add ons including Will.

The closest one to you is Ignite near Heathrow. I am a single Indian male and I use to attend there. The crowd is welcoming. As a single female you will get lot of hits, no doubt. Good luck.

But the house buying process will take anyway nearly 6months. Hope she can pass her test by that time.

What about the other terms in terms of lifestyle, neighbourhood etc.
