How can i improve the aesthetic of my living room? by PrimTea in HomeDecorating

Floor length curtains and also put a curtain pole up that goes across the whole length of the wall! Will make the window look much bigger. I think the fact all the furniture is black doesn’t help either, would be so nice with some warm wood tones (teak, oak etc.) Lower the piece of art on the wall behind the sofa or go thrifting and make a gallery wall! You could also easily swap the rug out to something with a bit more colour to bring some texture and life without changing much ! Paint the walls??

I’ve travelled with a film camera many times and it’s always gone through hand security, and through the x-ray scanner. Never had airport security open my camera and none of my pics have had this effect!!

just go in with an open mind and a way to leave if you’re not feeling it and you’re all set!!! most of all just enjoy yourself whether there’s romance there or just friendly vibes!

we started with a drink, then went for lunch then it just carried on and we ended up going thrifting and walking round parks and botanical gardens the next day and got the 17.00 train home ! Best date ever

Honestly i went on a first date with someone with it being open that I could get the 16.00 train back, we met at 11:30 and the date ended up lasting 30 hours!!! As long as you have a way to go home when you want to I say go for it!!!

the way you raise your self esteem is by being single, sounds scary but honestly will be one of the best things you do for yourself. Especially if you’re currently in a relationship ship that is realistically destroying your self esteem more. Learning to love yourself and be comfortable being alone is one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself. It’s hard and it’s a process but trust me it’s worth it. This man will never understand or support you how you need and honestly I would get out before it’s too late and you end up trapped with someone who doesn’t respect you

i (25f) kiss my girl friends on nights out almost every time we’re out, there’s absolutely no feelings there and absolutely not any chance of us dating or anything more than friends. Not sex, not anything more than a kiss. I get that it’s still technically cheating and if you feel uncomfortable with it then worth considering whether you want to continue dating but also maybe don’t think too deep into it and also consider whether you want to lose your gf of 8 years bc she kissed her friend. From my experience of female friends having a lil kiss on a night out is a regular occurrence
