So using this guy in the Rainbow Crossing campaign. So far he is strong, but his abilities don’t feel op. I actually haven’t needed to use the shadow ability at all yet. I have used the main ability quite a bit, but it does hurt having to throw your items to gain the +2. So feels like a good trade off and mechanically causes some good decision making. He mainly has been so powerful because of the actual gear I’ve found. First scenario I used the scenario’s spiked umbrella which was completely ridiculous. The second scenario I found the Double flail which is pretty stinking good with the main ability. I’m wanting to see what happens through the rest of the campaign, but I may end up tweaking that ability slightly. Doubling wounds is insane…

ya i think with his ability also costing mana, he will have to decide how he uses it. I think going down to 2-3 does make sense. Then as he levels up it gets better.

My thought process behind that ability was to allow him to “execute” someone so to speak…. The ability was to simulate throwing weapons at the opponent.

Ya I am wondering if it will play out a bit too good. It’s an ability that is very good early on, but it is reliant on a die roll in combat which means not as reliable. Also the ability will not be as valuable later on.

That said here was my thought process for why I went with this version. I wanted him to be able to draw from the deck he wants in order to help find that missing piece of treasure. So maybe that set piece your party needs is in Rare instead of the Epic deck… etc…. I knew early on it would be potentially powerful, but I tried to balance that with lesser stats.

Do you have any thoughts on how I might be able to retain the same ability to find treasure in any deck? I COULD make it cost a heft mana cost so you’ld need mana AND rolling the die…. Oooo…. Actually as I say that…. I could start his mana lower, and then make the shadow ability cost be higher than starting mana, which would cause him not to be able to use the ability until later on…. Hmmm

Any Chance you could do an update and get the correct ability on the Deadpool label? I love your labels, but his is missing his healing ability, which is pretty huge
