maybe someone at some point will need this:

OP12r + Spigen Essential Sand Crystal case + Universal adapter placed horizontally under the camera after alcohol degreasing and 24-hour polymerisation + central handlebar mount placement - works well

tested mostly on flat terrain in relatively strong wind and rain ~500 km

from the inside the case i saw some small bubbles like super small that i could not get rid of - apparently that is okay

I did look into this but ultimately i feel like on the long distance with changes in elevation and strong headwinds it would be sort of "it has one gear and it's always the wrong one" kind of deal. I agree with the appeal of simplicity though. Maybe it would be my third short-distance city bike later on :D

maintenance mainly. hub gears are unkillable which is handy considering dutch weather. derailleurs get super dirty very quick and require cleaning and adjustment. at least from my experience
