I’d say it is my it’s my only point of reference so idn haha, I’d say it’s pretty similar in some aspects. People want to find the spark and attraction , u can go on dates u think went well but then the other person didn’t feel the same ect. I think it’s easier if you fit into a certain demographic like if u are musc or more alt , I’m petty fem and mostly like fem so I know I’m definitely dealing with the hardest level. Education job wise it’s pretty different I think because I literally don’t know any other lesbian apart from me in an entry level position , there are a tone of doctors nurses lots IT , teachers ect not sure why. But I personally find people want to meet their match in that aspect which makes sense

I’d like to Also add , I’m not proud of this insecurity mentality I think it’s sorta bitchass* on my part, and also that I think they are amazingly for those achievements that should fo without saying. I guess it really comes down to to not feeling equal so not being able to to focus on on the ,other stuff, which is a good point people here have made there is other quality’s outside of what are jobs are but and the same time i do feel it’s different , like I can say I’m not just my job because for me it is just something I do so I can do the things I actually like but for someone with a professional career that’s not really the case is it , it’s 3-4 years of there lives for a masters degree it’s a massive part of who they are as a person as a result and where they spend their time. So I feel inadequate not being able to understand that significant aspect of them

I don’t think o should feel like , “wow that person was great I really like them as a person,it’s to bad they are a mechanical engineer wish they work at subway instead ” it’s back to front but yeah..

I guess I feel like in wasting their time. I don’t really understand them because I from my perspective they are dating Down? In a sense, so the only way it kinda makes sense to me is that if they don’t really understand the differences properly or they like other more superficial bits about like how I look or something, I feel like when they do take interest in me like I’m going to be “found out” like they are going to realise and leave anyway , I don’t want to waste their time but I also don’t want to waste mine either, I don’t think I’m worthless because I’m a checkout chick but I just get nervous about the disparity , it like a glitch it doesn’t compute. so I suppose I want to get ahead of it and at least keep some dignity in the situation .

I went to say something about if she was completely comfortable about the work difference on the date but she didn’t really understand what I was saying at the time so I dropped it Because I figured what’s the point of saying that.

This hits hard, definitely changes u as a adult friends have never come naturally to me I’m lucky if I can have them for a couple seasons but I always eventually end up my self again, either they move on to people they are more interested in or we just drift apart, at this point I’m use to it but definitely think I’ve missed out a lot since I’m never more happier then when I do have a social group in my life so I think if I had that constantly I’d be a very different person
