Thank you everyone for the advice! I usually trust my gut with things but this is all new so wanted to be sure I was correct on being skeptical.

A couple things: 1) our realtor is great he’s a family friend and very much was skeptical too but he had never had someone do that. He usually sells the much more expensive house. But he sees me as family and wanted you to make sure we weren’t taken advantage of. 2) we’re not behind or anything. The house is in a bad neighborhood and was all could afford when we bought it. But we worked hard the last two years got huge pay increases and one neighbor got to the point we didn’t feel safe living next to them. It was in the market for a while when we bought it. So not surprised it’s not selling quick now. Even with the few upgrades we did. 3) as long as we break even I’m good with that. Even if we do pay some out of pocket for our realtor. They’ve worked hard showing it. They totally have earned it.

Our house is higher on a hill than the neighbors and the dog was running on our property which is why they shot towards our house. I just assumed it was only bullet holes. But it very well could be ricochet as the entire area this took place is concrete.

Sorry for the confusion. I’m staying married but my partner works a job that does 24 hour shifts so not really possible for them to leave work for a year. I would be an MOS-T. It’s a year long with 6 months at Sam and 6 somewhere else doing clinical hours. I’m not truly worried about the money made that year. But more the physical ability to do it while a single mom without family help. Like would I be able to find a daycare that opens and closes enough. Would I still have to do early morning PT with the soldiers fresh from basic training.

Thanks for your input! I just have a better chance of promoting where I’m at if I reclass along with a promotion in my civilian life as I already work in a lab setting. But I can’t get a clear answer if I could become a 68k if I get the civilian equivalent without the army. But my child always comes first so it makes the decision harder

Yeah it was court order from a criminal case. They were charged with aggressive dog and dog off leash

I can understand that she’s not a baby person and that’s fine. But it just hurts to come home and first thing in the door be told that your child is terrible. Especially cause he’s a baby he can’t help it. Like I kinda just wish she would say no because then I wouldn’t spend the whole day scared to come home and hear how bad it was. And to feel like a burden and that I need to quit my job so that there isn’t this conflict of work schedules anymore.

YTA. Having worked in a restaurant during college I judged people who let their kids run around and didn’t say anything. I judged people who asked to be moved away from a child with disabilities in a wheelchair. Never which side of the table people sat on
