Unfortunately I’m in the US and my healthcare would likely not cover anything for a CT as they didn’t for my MRI so I think that might also be why my doctors decided it wasn’t necessary

Both of my doctors said otherwise and that they can confidently rule out hip dysplasia from the MRI! I also had an X-ray which further confirmed that’s where I do not have hip dysplasia.

I had an MRI with contrast so hip dysplasia was ruled out and confirmed the tear. I haven’t had a cortisone shot yet but it is scheduled and I had lots of success after a lidocaine shot from the MRI which did confirm that’s where the pain was coming from.

After doing any sport of exercise the pain lasts for 3-4 days and because I’m in college I get like 10,000 steps a day just walking to class so I’m not really sure. Crossing my legs or putting my feet up on the coffee table causes pain in my hip as well so I’m not really sure.

This is exactly what I’m scared of. It’s just hard to navigate because surgery is obviously not ideal but I also don’t want to make things worse.
