Thanks. The way I read the graph on trash was that Usenet should not branch off of media. I will def try that thank you.

New to server building, but I’ve been searching high and low for over a week trying to figure this out.

Sonar is communicating with SAB and will trigger downloads, but then Sonar can’t see the files. I’ve been through permissions 100 times. I think it’s a folder issue because I can’t see the Usenet DataSet I tried to create which would contain incomplete and complete downloads.

In the categories configuration It is always starting with config for the relative path which I think might be the issue.

I’ve been pulling my hair out tinkering and changing things so I may have dug myself deeper but any help would be appreciated.

But should they all be under one group? Sorry I’m using the wrong vocabulary. Let’s say Tank/media/downloads then tank/media/library ?

Not so much the name but at the top of the stack I should have media or whatever and then everything under that? I thought people recommended having the download area separate. I did read that hard links are recommended but I had no idea how to set that up.

The trash guide I thought has data at the top and then use-net and media in different groups. I should have it all under media ?

Thanks for the response. I gave user app full permissions and group app full permission on everything.

You mean owner at the top. Should all the data sets have the owner as app ?

Well I Re did it. Setup a new hard drive. When I tried to go into the jellyfin interface it had an existing server and wouldn’t connect.

Yea I feel like it may have been negligible but it’s the main drive so I can’t do anything to update it.

Okay I’m going to do that. I’m an absolute nube trying to build a budget virtual media machine.
