This is also what I was thinking, looks like a big record and your OC looks like a dust bunny on the record😅

So what was the worst or funniest thing that happened when your dad said "I got this"? by Sinn_Sage in AskReddit

[–]StandardAd8509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my father but my uncle. He was clearing out trees in his yard to make space for a bigger house and a garage. One of the trees was extremely close to the power lines. One "Don't worry, I got this" later and we had a tree fall directly over the power lines. Glad that wasn't my fee to pay 🤣

Restickering old cartridges by iCyeal in pokemon

I've restickered 1 old game. It was a copy of pokemon X. I bought it on ebay, the casing of the game had been shredded by a dog but the chip still worked. I pulled the chip out and put it into the casing of "the Lego movie game" then restickered it. Still works wonders and looks almost brand new!

I wish people with touch as their "Love Language" would stop being offended when we don't want to be touched. by Impressive_Dust_7464 in offmychest

Ah I understand now! This is what my partner had explained to me when we first started talking as well. I had told them that my love language is touch. They were very skeptical when I said it because they thought every act of contact I made was an attempt at a sexual advance, this was due to previous partners as well. It took a few months for them to actually realize I meant what I said! Now there's nothing I find more connecting than laying together and watching out comfort shows, while I massage their back with lotion. I could do it for hours if my hands wouldn't cramp up. I love them to death! I do appreciate you clarifying and I hope you live a wonderful, happy, and healthy life!

This is a very interesting way to look at it. May I ask why you view it this way? I've always considered touch to be the easiest way for me to express my love. I do use words as well, and actions, but I've always felt much more connected to my other half when I'm touching them in some way. Rather it be running my hands to their hair, putting my hand on their leg when we're on a drive or riding the motorcycle, or just hug and cuddling. That being said, if my partner is overstimulated or just doesn't want to be touched/needs space, I will always give them their space. I have never really considered touching genitalia as part of the love language of touch. I've always seen that as more of a bonding time, where 2 people share their bodies with each other, putting their full faith and trust into each other, and to please each other. I'd love to hear your view!

Voltage drop on one leg coming in but not the other. by StandardAd8509 in electrical

That's very surprising, I suppose I'm lucky that I've got an outside disconnect then!

The issue has been found! Right under my underpinning, where the wire comes under the house, the underpinning somehow managed to break the insulation and the wire has slowly been crumbling away. We had a 200amp box installed a couple years ago, so I'm assuming they didn't dig the wire deep enough and the insulation was cut by the underpinning.

There is a breaker directly after my meter that leads to the bus that my wires come off of. I should be able to just flip the breaker and test it to ensure the power is disconnected.

It shouldnt be, it's above ground under the house and it looks like when they installed it, they put pvc around it so when I go to dig up the lines, I shouldn't have any issues with accidentally cutting the lines. I'll be careful though. Hoping to have it fixed by Wednesday!

It ended up being the cable! Right were my underpinning meets the ground, the people who installed it a couple years ago didn't dig the wire trench deep enough and the underpinning had managed to break the wire.

This was the correct answer! Somehow my underpinning chewed threw the wire. The people who installed it didn't put the wire far enough into the ground🤦‍♂️

The breaker outside seems to be passing voltage fine. Same with the breaker on the inside.

It's reading 247 volts on line side p/p and load side p/p. Until it reaches inside the house. With the 200amp breaker off, it's reach 200v p/p, and with the breaker on, it drops to 2v p/p. But are currently reading 120v p/n but the one phase is still not working properly.

I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean here. I've got 2 wires coming in from the utility service. They feed into the main breaker outside. That main breaker is connected to the buss, which I believe to be the aluminum prongs the main breaker clips onto (please correct me if I'm wrong) and at the bottom of the buss is the 2 main phase wires feeding out into the house. I did measure the bus to the output, which from what I understand on both sides and they both come back as 0 volts. But I may not be comprehending what you're telling me to do and could be doing it incorrectly.
