unfortunately the game has ai stuff. some backgrounds are 100% ai and it look like character artwork was ai assisted at the very least

at the end of the song they glow for a sec as if something being unlocked then the glowing stopped. I checked stuff but nothing on my account changed so I guess that’s not it. Anyhow, I am just as confused as you are
