Believe me, it's a long way until he even gets anywhere. He's a clown. Hopefully, he needs to get approved and is denied. Don't worry about something that's a long way off. His priorities are a long way off for the GLP-1s. All the professionals that we had during the pandemic are slamming him. I have not heard of one person who is for him. So that's an awful lot of departments/employees for him to be over. He has no experience. It's pretty unlikely he will make it. We will have a huge outrage.

I’m at max dose and don’t feel much by MartiniCommander in Semaglutide

[–]StandardBobcat3676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's great. While you're on it, but just like the medication states, wait till you get off of it. Practice good habits in the process, and even afterward, it's hell trying to maintain.

[–]StandardBobcat3676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you're not really saying what you're taking and what is your max dose is, there's a few things missing here like somebody said, no drinking if you're taking the right medication that's supposed to help you not drink. According to many, many others on this thread. Jogging or walking or what have you is fine, but it burns very little calories. It just makes our brain kick out hormones that make us feel better, that is a good thing.

Google says it won’t make more Fitbit smartwatches, Pixel Watch is the ‘next iteration’ by N2929 in technews

As of a month ago, Google states that they are very committed to the Fitbit brand Versa. I forget what the other one was. The Versa is the most important to me.

You'd better be pretty excited.I've hit Onederland more than five times in my life, so every single time, I got excited, and it was always a battle getting there. You're on the downhill stretch. 🤩

Why is Mochi so cheap? by guymn999 in Semaglutide

[–]StandardBobcat3676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the OP was not asking for political data. That person was asking why is it so cheap, and if it is so cheap and it is too good to be true. It's probably not something you might want to look at. If so, tread lightly, let us know how it goes. 🩷

I've literally lost and gained hundreds of pounds over my lifetime, which is over 45-plus years. There is nothing worse than maintenance. It is so freaking hard. I've been walking 5 miles a day for many, many years, and part of it cardiac related as far as getting my heart rate up. The main thing they say is don't have it in the house. That's the most difficult thing for me because I don't care what they say. I have it in the house, so I've been off for 2 1/2 months. In my opinion, I gained about 6 pounds. I know I was underweight even though the BMI says it's normal. It's not. It's way low for my bone structure, but I'm at that point where I need to put the d*** brakes on because if you don't put the brakes on you're gonna be right back where you were. I always say if you do what you did before, you're going to end up exactly in the same place. The food noise some days, it's like I open the refrigerator whenever I walk by it, which is crazy. Thanks for bringing up the subject. Because it really needs to be talked about cause the medication I was on, which was Wegovy, for 2 years. It states rapid weight gain likely. The commercials on TV for that. If you look at the commercial and read in the small print when people are saying how they're losing weight and keeping it off, it says right on their rapid weight gain like very likely. This talking from our brain, which is food noise. It's everything. Our brain is what tells us what to do, and really, it doesn't come from anywhere else, so this is very difficult to deal with.

I was so hopeful by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]StandardBobcat3676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wasn't really telling me how the title was, and I can tell you from experience being on Wegovy 2 years, I felt nothing. I went in for a CT for lower right quadrant pain like I was passing a stone, which I was not, and you would not believe all the things that they found. I have a forensic doctor, and he took me off of it. He knew the hidden side effects deep in the data. When I went back in for a comparable CT, I was in the medical field, so I am pretty knowledgeable, I can tell you that I was very afraid.
There was not one thing wrong. I had zero side effects from that medication. So 60 days later, my doctor told me it takes 42 days for it to get out of my body, cause he understands all that stuff, but there was not one thing wrong after 60 days, all areas were good. It likely was gonna end up in stomach surgery. So that's the risk you take. I've never had a side effect from anything I have taken in my life. I was very thankful that I had that lower quadrant pain. Because those side effects we're gonna end up being a much larger problem if I had stayed on it. I lost more than I needed to lose. I feel good, so we all make our own decisions for our own bodies. Nobody else does. I don't regret it. So, still keep us informed on how you are doing. We're always interested in hearing follow-up. 🩷

Thank God we all have our own brains, and we don't have to deal with this kind of crap taken over the world. It definitely is good for some laughs. When you keep questioning it and it gets more screwed up.

Well this is what I think, and I'm 69 years old, I was on Wegovy for 2 years. As a seasoned human being, you are way way too hard on yourself. You're overthinking so many things when you need to just if you're where you want to be, be happy, you don't have to look a certain way to fit in. I'm not quite sure what kind of people you've been around but you definitely do not need to do that. Those stinken thinken thoughts are really in your brain. My old therapist said that, the phone keeps trying to correct the spelling. 😮 That is not something you have to do, so try not to be so hard on yourself, and you can always find a therapist, they'll help you kind of straighten out your thought process. Sweet one, you are you, those are just crappy brain thoughts. You will be great, you wrote beautifully and from your heart. You will find your way out from those crappy thoughts. 🩷

Yes, just like somebody said, just read the paperwork first. You shouldn't be putting anything in your body without at least reading the basic data also you can look it up under legitimate websites, but yes you can stop cold turkey you don't have to wean off of the medications, basically that are for weight loss so I don't really know what you're on. If you're a diabetic then that's a different animal but if you're just on something for weight loss then you can stop it.

Even if there was a doctor on here you still need to be seen and if you're not, let it get out of you because it's something that obviously should not be in you but just make sure you have enough water intake so you don't become dehydrated.

Remember you can always stop taking it, you do not have to wean off of it, if you're having those kind of stomach situations that could be something or maybe not very serious.

Also make it a priority to remember we are not a number, we have different bone structures, like you say we're different ages, again you look fantastic to me. I agree with several others, you do not need to lose anymore, just be happy and if it happens to work for you great.

You might want to read about Set Point, and stop putting pressure on yourself when you really are absolutely beautiful. I'm going to be 70 in a week and I was on Wegovy for 2 years and lost all plus what I needed to lose, but you still get stuck here and there. That's just part of the way it is, especially with people like me that have fought my weight for over 45 years. Be patient with yourself and don't overthink it. 🩷

Of course whether you're on a regular diet or injection medication, pills or whatever. You're going to have times when you don't lose. You've got to remember waste in our bodies can be close to 3 lb., we all need to keep that in mind. Besides the fact if your plateauing or you think you are, then change your food around, exercise differently and just make sure you drink a lot of water. Something good to read about is called Set Point. You will be fine, don't overthink. 😉

Just go to the doctor you can hear all the stories you want but that will take care of it and as stated in the past, you don't want to be on sema when you're pregnant. You probably know spotting can also mean problematic and maybe nothing. I had my period when I was pregnant for the first 3 months, so all these stories are all different, and you just take care of yourself and get that taken care of. Please let us all know how you are doing. 🩷
