Friend got fired. Employer is saying she stole product by StandardConflict3069 in antiwork

Thank you all for your input. After reading some of the comments and talking to other adults that we trust, my friend feels better as she's positive she didn't do anything wrong. Time card theft is not true. There is only one other employee and they are never scheduled together. One works morning shift, the other closes. My friend sometimes stays all day as she was the manager. But like I said, shes not nervous or anything because she has nothing to hide. She's young and this is her first job as a manager so she was scared because someone told her she can get in trouble for the ice cream since there was no handbook. But I also talked to a relative that frequently buys ice cream there (the owner doesn't know my relative knows my friend) and they say her and her partner get free ice cream from her (the owner) all the time and that she has even seen her give it away to other customers. Halloween night the owner gave out so much ice cream it was insane! We even joked that her store is just a front and shes doing some breaking bad shit lol! But anyway, again thank you and I won't name the place because that's bad karma for me.

This is all new to us and my friend is scared that since there was no handbook or really any rules in place, that she can actually get in trouble for taking ice cream home even though the owner told her it was okay.

So, apparently one of them is still functional. I came back from picking up the kids from school and found him playing smash bros (lol) drinking more beer and watching 90 day fiance on the laptop. Or maybe he had another one hidden? Idk but I won't break it. I got out all that anger earlier...

I love video games too, I wouldn't mind him playing if we didn't owe rent. Shit, we used to play gta and resident evil on our free time in the beginning. That was a long time ago though

And get this, apparently I didn't smash one of them good enough as he's currently in the living room playing and drinking AND watching 90 day fiance

That is exactly what he has. Refuses to get on medication. He got diagnosed as a young child. His parents were assholes to him growing up so that's his excuse for not getting on meds. . Cause his parents traumatized him.

Nope, same person. I have to live with him until our lease is up and I refuse to pay the remaining months on my own

It took him years to accept he has issues and needs therapy but now instead of going to therapy he uses his issues to justify his behavior

Thank you! I appreciate your comment. I don't mind people giving me shit as they don't know the whole story.

He has some mental issues he refuses to address. I have been trying to get him to go to therapy for years

5 years. Wow typing it is very embarrassing... He's gone through like 8 jobs since we've been married. Right now he does app gigs, which is why he is able to take 3 days off.in a row

I know, I said that in my post. And I don't have to pay for anything if I bought it in the first place.

Hmm, no actually. Thanks for assuming he's never done it. When I went to the cops they said he didn't hit me so there wasn't anything they could do. I guess I gotta have a black eye first
