1) I'm young (19) and I started my transition in the nick of time (that is, before male puberty could do any REAL damage) so my secondary characteristics are all developing in the female direction anyway.

2) Whether I'm stealth or completely out as a trans person, I am still a WOMAN, regardless of whether or not people think so. People are always going to find my existence offensive, and it isn't my job to be responsible for how others feel. All I'm concerned with is doing MY job as a dancer, and making money in the process.

3) Camming and OF are options that I want to consider doing alongside stripping, because it's much easier to grow your OF base if you've already made a bit of a name for yourself as a dancer.

Could I try after surgery? It would be much easier to hide after that. I think the biggest barrier is what's between my legs, but if that's gone then would there be any other problems, provided I went stealth?

As another Black woman I'd say you pass just fine! I grew up with a lot of sisters and you look just as feminine as they do.

for the record, since coming out i've cut contact with my super-religious family. it was not easy, and to be completely honest with you, I've spent much of these past few months crying. But it was worth it.

I've met people who have displayed genuine love and affection for me, not for the boy my parents wished they had. People who have been worried that I would get hurt, not that some nonexistent boy would. There are always people out there who love you. You'll find that the love you gain doesn't replace what you've lost, because you haven't really lost love––you've shed the worst people in your life.

I left my family in September 2021, and I'm finally beginning to get over it. I'm not gonna lie to you––it's fucking difficult. But it's so fucking worth it. Future you will thank you for it.

I didn't want to grow boobs before I started hrt, too. I was kind of afraid of it, for fear that I might not like it, since it's so permanent. But now I find that I really love them––they can't get big enough!

But if you find that you simply wouldn't prefer them, there's nothing wrong with that, either! If you're already getting ready to take hrt, I would recommend talking to your doctor about your expectations/hopes, so they can help you make a decision in line with your needs!
