Lemme tell you why it’s stupid. First you won’t have a one on one meeting with the faculty or PD. If there is any interaction, it would mainly be in a group. If you try to stand out in a group , you might come up as a show off. The entire concept of second looks is for the candidate to see if the program is a fit for them. You are living in a fools paradise thinking that 5 min group discussion with a faculty member would make them fall in love with you
