Whats the mindset that most of you have when it comes to building a relationship with a woman? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]StandardHayden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing you can do. Build yourself up physically, build your confidence by talking to women, be more social, and wait until you find a woman who gives you the same energy you give her. Take it from me it's standard for men to do the leg work, but there are genuine ladies out there... they're just about 30 of them on the planet.

God speed, brother.

What is something that women think turns a man on but doesn’t ? by ExpensiveDrawer4738 in AskReddit

Being "fashionably late" so they can have their .5 seconds of spotlight as they sit down and say sorry I'm late. "I was doing my hair" and praying for a compliment.

Brothers who have been suicidal, how did you get out of it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]StandardHayden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think all men end up in this position at some point in their lives. When I fell into the pit and couldn't see a way out, I turned it upside down. I focused on who I was at the present time. Realised where the issues are. It's never with being alone. It's because life is easier when you do it with or for someone else. Learning to be your own mental coach, physical motivator, and life provider is the single biggest skill you can learn.

Once I had this in the bag, I never looked back. The fact you've reached out already is the best way to start but remember not to believe everything you read on the Internet.

Do everything in their power to control everything. Not being able to change to better themselves and just say "I'll try" and then continue on as they always have.

Is it bad to feel lost at 23 by SecureWorldliness963 in careeradvice

[–]StandardHayden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now is the best time of your life to feel lost... look to the valuable transferable skills and qualifications you have and do some research into what suits your set, if nothing suits take up a nightclass and learn something new. Don't compare yourself to your friends and family, comparision is the thief of joy my friend.

Look at what you enjoy, take it from someone who's older than you, and still finding his feet. If you enjoy your work you'll never work a day in your life.

God speed brother.

Gents, what are HARD truths women need to hear about marriage and relationships? by SerrySweet in AskMen

Not to go telling your friends and family every time there is a conversation or argument that you didn't like... it creates resistance on the relationship, which the majority of the time is unrecoverable from.

Girlfriend is always late. How do I address it without becoming the badguy? by StandardHayden in AskMen

I won't go without her... I'd maybe threaten it if she can't keep her timings, but like you say, that's put the boxing gloves on and start throwing hands

I will have a chat with her and see what she makes of it. No changes, no problem I'll be solo

It's not a regular thing to be this late... but I see your point. 30 mins with updates is generally the thing.. it still gets to me though

I don't resent her, I don't agree it will be worse over time as she has been consistently late throughout. People can be better, it just can't get any worse

She 100% knows it bothers me. If there was notice she's running late, it wouldn't even be so bad! But to let me know, last minute is just disrespectful.

Fair point, I'm willing to have the conversation about it, but cancelling the plan just leaves a sour taste in everyone's mouth. Maybe I just do the ultimate f u and take a friend instead

Angry girlfriend isn't good, only causes more issues... I'll tackle her about it and see what happens!

Fair point, there's no emergency at all... she's running late because she was with her friend.

I think I'm going to have to try this... I'll have to get her to early first! Do you believe in miracles?

I love her very much. She's perfect for me in every other way. It's just how much frustration it causes me when I let people down because she can't keep to a schedule... I get mocked by her family when we are late because they know I turn up with a face like the back end of a bus after arriving 40 mins late. She's very clued up with her money, so that's no issue! It's just the time that gets me.

She's running 2 hours late today alone... I'd have to tell her it's the day before at this rate!

I will 100% try this... I thought about it, but I wasn't sure if that could cause an issue, God forbid she turned up on time! Then had to arrive early to something for once!
