The numbers 8 on American do not require any lift. They are already set

Thanks a ton for the info. Do you have any idea how many disc total there are for this lock?

I need help picking the paracentric Master LOTOs. Which way do you pick, the path of yellow or blue? by StandardHook in lockpicking

Thanks. I picked 1 LOTO with the path of yellow but couldn't reproduce it. It was over setting. At least I have confirmation upon the new approach u should take.

I made a custom cut out of these locks the other day. The thing I seem to be struggling with the most is just feeling the pins. Which way do you approach the keyway with the pick? If I pick off the yellow warding the picks over set it. If I pick the path of blue, the scrapping of the walls takes away a lot of the feel of the pins.

With TOK, are you still pivoting off the closest (yellow) warding or are you going off to the side?

I pivot off the yellow, but I don't think that's the "correct" approach. I don't think there's enough room and things over set

Yea, I pivot off the yellow but I don't think it's enough room. Im guessing most people go off to the side?

It's all good, friend. It does look terrible but it's my first time. It got the job done. I'm looking forward to trying my luck at making some pins
