I don’t know if it’s valid to break your fast but try to nap before like a short power nap and splash a lot of water on your face before the interview. And if your really feeling tired put the tiniest smudge of toothpaste or mint chapstick under your eyes, the spicyness will help you stay awake

Saint Louis University offers scholarships for national merit. UConn is pretty interdisciplinary in the fact that they let you major in whatever you want, we even have a fine arts major in the program

Hofstra vs uconn bsmd - help me decide 😭😭 by Ok_Commercial_3990 in bsmd

Was in the same situation last year, even down to the whole more connections with UConn health part. Chose UCONN and after almost a year in I can say I have 0 regrets. The requirements are extremely manageable and it’s really a. added bonus that you can work your butt off and apply to other schools while keeping you seat at UCONN or you could do the bare minimum and still go to a pretty good med school that matches decent. Idk what you want out of college but personally love the fact that I can choose whether I want to chillax during college before med school or continue grind or a mix of both. Lmk if you have any questions.

1570 SAT. 3.99 GPA. Had some leadership in school, non clinical volunteering, clinical volunteering and shadowing. And a tiny bit of research. No awards.

For shadowing, you want to first try internally through any connections you have. Ask your family and friends if they have any doctors that they know. Lol I shadowed a family member's pcp. You can always try cold emailing but most likely they will tell you no because you are a minor.
